Stage 1: Lust
The feeling of lust can be define as physical attraction and madness for opposite gender due to chemical reactions in our mind. The responsible hormones are testosterones and oestrogen.
Stage 2: Attraction
The stage of attraction is the real stage of love which we all have seen in movies and have been felt with ourselves. When we struck on our partner only, don’t feel like eating, sleeping or talking to anybody else. The neuro-transmitters called “monoamines” forces you to day dream about your love whole day and night. The other chemicals which cause attraction are:-
Dopamine – Also activated by cocaine and nicotine.
Norepinephrine – Otherwise known as adrenalin. Starts us sweating and gets the heart racing.
Serotonin – One of love’s most important chemicals and one that may actually send us temporarily insane.
Stage 3: Attachment
Attraction is the final stage of love in which people just can’t stay without each other and it converts into long lasting relationship in which people do marry with each other and have children. In this tsage the feelings and emotions are dependent on two hormones released by nervous system which are:-
Oxytocin – This is very strong hormones and released during the pregnancy by hypothalamus which strengthen the relation between mother and child and it is also released during orgasm by both the individuals and promote more and stronger bonding between the couple. The intimacy between the couples creates deep love and affection in their hearts.
Vasopressin – Another committed chemical of mind is Vasopressin and it controls kidney but affects the mind and heart of love.
